Last year, Lenovo launched the Lenovo Legion Go, a portable game console. This device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 processor based on Zen 4 architecture and offers impressive performance.
Now it becomes clear that Lenovo is preparing to release a new portable console. At first, it was thought that the new product would be equipped with a processor from the expected Ryzen Z2 series on the Zen 5 architecture. However, recent rumors indicate that the Lenovo Legion Go S will receive the Ryzen Z2 processor, but it will belong to the Rembrandt series with Zen 3+ cores. This will be a weaker processor compared to the Ryzen Z1 Extreme and its more modern Zen 4 cores.
The Legion Go S console itself will be a simplified version of the original Legion Go. The renders of the new product confirm the absence of detachable gamepads, as well as hint at a more compact display.
The new leak also suggests that the cost of the Legion Go S will range from $399 to $449.
